India continuing its love for the sport of Bat and Ball witnessed the first ever Club Baseball League with 6 clubs participating in the first edition of Club Nationals, on 8th February 2022, at the state of art ball park HBBC Ground in Hyderabad Telangana.
The 5 days tournament from 8th – 13th February 2022 involved a mixture of skilled and experienced players from all over India. All the Clubs participating in the event underwent strict selection procedure and trials to ensure the quality of the competition and to select the best from the numerous clubs entries received for the novel tournament. Hyderabad Chargers, Amravati Baseball Club, Assam Rhinos Baseball Club, Punjab Lions, Faridabad Baseball Club, 9 Famous Clubs participated in the first of its kind Club Baseball league was organised by the Confederation of Professional Baseball Softball Clubs in India(CPBSC), in association with Dream Olympic Sports. CPBSC, a non-profit organization, is working with the sole objective of promotion and development of baseball and softball in India. CPBSC India recognizes the need for a collaborative and concerted effort to create a baseball and softball ecosystem. In order to change the outlook of this sport, CPBSC India would like to bring together all like-minded organizations who share the vision and objective of CPBSC India to work towards the promotion of baseball and softball.
