Dream Olympic Sports has always been a supporter of baseball skill development at an early stage and continues to work towards that aim. It has been on the lookout of opportunities for youth and adult categories players alike so that they get a stage to perform and showcase their skills. 

One such recent opportunity was the MLB Cup 2021, a youth tournament for children of age group 9-11. A total of 12 teams from across the country came to participate in the competition. Dream Olympic Sports saw this as a great opportunity for it youth team and after a standard trial and selection procedure, sent out a team to the tournament, which represented the city of Hyderabad under the label of Hyderabad Cubs. The squad comprised of 12 players, who were assisted by two coaches and a parent chaperon Mr. Shyam Tiwari.

The young players were coached and mentored by veteran baseball coach and player Mr. Rajender Lamge, who was assisted by Coach G. Sanjay Kumar. The tournament was held in Gurugram, Haryana from 10th to 12th of December 2021 and saw a total of 12 teams compete from all around India.

Our team participated with complete show of skill and determination, despite their age and ended the campaign with a great set of lessons. Dream Olympic Sports’ officials also attended the tournament in their individual capacity and instilled confidence among the young players and ensured that they’ll come up with similar avenues to display the youth’s talent in Baseball, in the days to come.
